Mr. J.A. McDowell Died on Sunday
Mr. J.A. McDowell died at his home, No 1022 12th St., Sunday afternoon at 3:20 o'clock. He was fifty two years of age, and is survived by his wife and eight children. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon from the residence, and the remains were interred in Riverdale cemetery. His death is very much regretted by a number of friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lottie McDowell, 1347 Springer St, who died Saturday afternoon, will be held at 9:30 o'clock this morning at the Church of Holy Family. Rev. Father Dan McCarthy will officiate, and interment will be in Riverdale Cemetery.

CHURCH DEATH RECORDS
Holy Family Catholic Church in Columbus, Georgia performed the services for Mrs. Lottie McDowell. The burial certificate from the church shows she was given Last Rites, therefore indicating perhaps she was Roman Catholic. No other records could be found at this church. Their records indicate she was 99 years old at time of death.
