TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Know ye, that James McKeen a Corporal of Captain William R. Curriers Company, C, Second Regiment of Maine Vols who was enrolled on the 27th day of April one thousand eight hundred and sixty one to serve three years is hereby discharged from the service of the United State, this Ninth day of June (?), 1863, at Bangor Maine by reason of expiration of term of service.

Said James McKeene was born in Robiston in the State of Maine, is forty three years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, light complexion, grey eyes, grey hair and by occupation, when enrolled, a carpenter.

Given at Bangor Me this Ninth day of June (?) 1863.
