GENERAL AFFIDAVIT
State of Maine, County of Penobscot, ss:
In the matter of Hannah D. McKeen, widow James McKeen Co C. 2Ne No. 472710
On this 12 day of Oct A.D. 1891, personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace in and for the aforesaid County duly authorized to administer oaths Winfield S. McFarland (?) aged 59 years, a residant of Eddington in the County of Penobscot and State of Maine well known to me to be reputable and entitled to credit, and who, being duly sworn, declared in relation so aforesaid case as follows:
That I am tax collector of the Town of Eddington Me, and for the year 1890-91, it appears from the records in my possession and to which I at this time refer, that the heirs of the late James McKeen, Co B 1Me HyArty, are taxed for the above years and were taxed $3.40 on a total valutaion of $200. If said Hannah McKeen is taxed for any other propery I should know it. She has no income and I am of the opinion that her boys support her. She lives with her sons and has no income.
Her Post Office address is East Eddington Maine. He further declare that he has no interest in said case and is not concerned in its prosecution.
Winfield S. McFArland
Tax Collector Eddington
