We start the Taylor story with George Taylor. We have not found where he was born or who his parents were. We do know the Banns were published for his marriage to Janet Stirling on April 28, 1749 in Port of Monteith, Perth, Scotland.
In the Port of Monteith Old Parish Register, Perth, we found the following children for George Taylor and Janet Stirling. Please note there are year gaps in the children.
