Gordon Nebraska Cemetery

This tombstone has to stand between four and five feet tall. Each inscription is carved on a side.

1888 and 1890

1891 and 1895

C.A. and Alice L. Tennant were the parents of these two little boys who are buried with them, and we believe also a little girl by the name of Jenniebell Tennant. Jenniebell was born September 19, 1890 - just three months before her Mother Alice died. Jay W. died in February 1891. We do not know what devastated this family. Jenniebell survived whatever it was and was lovingly raised by Joshua and Adaline Wilson. We also believe that somehow they were related to the Fickel and Wilson families. This stone sits on the same Block 27 Lot 2 with the Fickel Headstone for John and Manley Fickel.
