SABAN THOMPSON HOMEPAGE

'TIS A LONG ROAD

"For that is the mark of the Scot of all classes: that he stands in an attitude towards the past unthinkable to Englishmen, and remembers and cherishes the memory of his forebears, good or bad; and there burns alive in him a sense of identity with the dead even to the twentieth generation."
ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON

Welcome to our family home page. Our whole purpose in creating this site is to share information and provide a central location for others to share information. We believe in keeping genealogy free on the internet. As we put this together, we hope to have information on this site pertaining to all the various and asundry branches of each of our families. All information which is of public origin, such as census, wills, and land records, will have a source listed but is free for you to use. We hold a copyright on the format and style of this page and all pages contained therein, in other words the way it is written and presented. We do not even dream of attempting to put a copyright on data. We would love to have you share your family data with us and have it posted on these pages. Perhaps together we can find your roots as well as ours, find distant relatives, and have some fun with others who share the same interests. We believe at last count we have well over four hundred surnames listed between the two of us. If you have census information in particular on a family unit, send it to us and we will post it. Contact us if you have any questions.
