"2   John THOMPSON b: 3 March 1651/52 in Aberford, Yorkshire, England
Birth Note: Mother not listed  Batch No.: Film No 455368 (bap.)
2   John THOMPSON b: Bef. 3 March 1652/53 in Aberford, Yorkshire,
England      Batch No.: P007341

Now first up Aberford is only 8.1km away from Kirk Fenton so is quite
close, if there were no church there then your John may have been
baptised at Kirk Fenton. Whether the above parents had one John with
multiple birth/bap. entries or two I cannot be sure. But this John is
the best fit perhaps a look at the actual OPR's (Old Parish Register's)
may shed some light.
