WYOMING MIGRATIONS
In honor of those who have died and those who are missing - visit September 11, 2001
Wyoming was populated by Native Americans prior to the American migration westward. The purpose of this site is to try to record the migration of all of our ancestors who came into Wyoming. They may have stayed for a year, a decade or a lifetime. They still left their mark on our wonderfully diverse state.
We hope to put together a Wyoming Archaelogy website, which will put together the different data on Wyoming digs. With the new scientitific testing, the data is becoming even more interesting and upsetting some of the established trains of thought!
This project is a means to record the migration of families, yours and ours, as they moved from their native lands to the United States and spread out across this wonder land of ours. Please take the time to record yours, and visit our recommended links on researching your family history.
If you are interested in adopting a specific county (and the Wind River Indian Reservation) within Wyoming, please let us know.
